Roasted broccoli with butter, cumin and chipotle
Inspired by a recipe Weight Watchers
1 broccoli cut into florets
5 c. teaspoon unsalted butter
¾ c. teaspoon salt
½ c. teaspoon ground cumin
¼ c. teaspoon chipotle chili powder **
¼ c. teaspoon sugar
* The same recipe applies Cauliflower
** The chipotle pepper has a smoky and spicy. Because they had not, Cayenne pepper will do.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
Spray a cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray (PAM style)
Melt the butter in a saucepan, add salt, cumin, chili powder, sugar and cook for 30 seconds.
In a bowl, combine broccoli and butter flavored. Place the mixture on the sheet and bake. Bake about fifteen minutes until broccoli is tender and lightly roasted. Stir occasionally.<
